Hey there! I’m Amal Aljohani,
a Saudi filmmaker and storyteller with a passion for the imaginative and impactful.
Armed with an MFA in filmmaking from New York Film Academy – School of Film and Acting (LA, NYC) and a BFA in graphic design, I’m all about crafting stories that resonate.
I love exploring abstract ideas, diving into social issues, and blending reality with the dreamy vibes of fantasy.
You’ll find both grounded documentaries
and flights of imagination in my work!
I’m easygoing, adaptable, and excited to take on projects of any size or budget, solo or with
a team.

مرحباً! أنا أمل الجهني، صانعة أفلام سعودية وساردة قصص شغوفة بالإبداع والتأثير.
حاصلة على ماجستير في صناعة الأفلام من أكاديمية نيويورك للأفلام – مدرسة السينما والتمثيل وبكالوريوس في التصميم الجرافيكي، أسعى دائماً لابتكار قصص تترك أثراً.
أحب استكشاف الأفكار المجردة، والغوص في القضايا الاجتماعية، ومزج الواقع بروح الخيال الحالمة
